Bacolod’s No. 1 Councilor El Cid Familiaran encourages various organizations to formalize their groups and have a strong voice.
The recent induction of the Mahogany Home Owners Association (MHOA) in Barangay Mandalagan was a venue where the Councilor cited the officials of an organization that others should do the same so as to formalize their organization and move with a common goal. Councilor Familiaran further said that the need and importance of organizing shall give people in groups to have a strong voice whether it should be from their own basis of unity or local issues and contribute to other important matters of society where it needs the people’s opinion. The Councilor lauded the efforts of officers and members of the association that gave their effort to be organized. Unity and gathering the biggest number of members to work for a common goal should be done by others so that public officials as well as other organizations can help out in the future projects and endeavors that will be initiated by various organizations in society, the Councilor stressed.
