The Bacolod City Police Office has reiterated its request for the passage of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Resolution authorizing the charging of payment of expenditures against the current budget of PAGCOR Fund of the executive share for the month of October.
Bacolod City Police Office Director Senior Supt. Celestino Guara, in his letter to Vice Mayor Jude Thaddeus Sayson, dated October 18, 2010 said the resolution that will enable the release of the amount of P478,000 for the month of September 2010 is still pending. Of the P478,000, the amount of P220,000 will be given to BCPO headquarters, P20,000 for Police Station 1, P135,000 for Police Stations 2 to 10, P30,000 for Mobile Tactical Unit, P10,000 for Theft and Robbery Section, P5,000 for the Women’s Desk, P10,000 for the Drugs Enforcement Unit and P8,000 for the Police Community Relations Office. He said the amount to be received by BCPO will be used to settle their account with a gasoline station, to avoid cutting off from gas withdrawals by fuel providers. Guara’s letter has been forwarded to Councilor El Cid Familiaran, Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Police Security and Jail Management.*APN Visayan Daily Star
