Bacolod Councilor El Cid Familiaran has urged all congressmen in Negros Occidental to donate a hemodialysis machine to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH).
This, after the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) through its president, Alexander Padilla, has announced that the institution will expand the program for hemodialysis by extending the number of sessions from 45 to 90 per year in a bid to lessen the financial burden among its members. With this development, Familiaran recalled his previous resolution calling on Bacolod Lone District Representative EvelioLeonardia, Julio Ledesma of the 1st district, Leo Rafael Cuevas of the 2nd district, Alfredo Benitez ofthe 3rd district, Jeffrey Ferrer ofthe 4th district, Alejandro Mirasolofthe 5th district, Mercedes Alvarez ofthe 6th district, NeriColmenares of Bayan Munapartylist, Joseph Stephen Paduano of AbangLingkod, Gary Alejano of Magdalo, and Ronald Dela Cruz of Trade UnionCongress of the Philippinesto donate a hemodialysis machine to CLMMRH due to the gravity of the plight of kidney patients in the city and province.
